Proistemi Project
ClaimDeck is engaged in philanthropic efforts through Proistemi Project, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Dwayne Hermes.
The name “Proistemi” refers to the spiritual gift of leadership. Proistemi is devoted to promoting leadership and collaboration in support of lasting solutions for people in need. Proistemi is involved in a number of charitable initiatives, that extend beyond south Dallas all the way to Honduras, including facilitating the donation of backpacks and school supply drives to provide children with necessary tools for success in education. With the help of the Catholic diocese, Panoquca Santo Domingo Salvio in Honduras’ capital, Proistemi is able to affect real change in a community that is in desperate need. We have helped start a square foot garden program for the families in the poorest neighborhoods in Tegucigalpa. We provide supplies to the under-funded neonatal intensive care of a state hospital.
In appreciation of our relationship with you and in support of the philanthropic efforts of ClaimDeck and Proistemi Project, ClaimDeck is making a donation of $1 per claim on your behalf to Proistemi Project. Thanks to donations, Proistemi is able to fulfill its mission to promote leadership and collaboration in support of lasting solutions for people in need.
“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.”
-Mother Teresa
Through Proistemi Project, ClaimDeck is involved in a number of projects designed to address poverty in Honduras. The projects include providing food baskets to combat hunger in an impoverished community.
Through the Little Angels of Honduras organization, the nonprofit is providing assistance to the severely under-funded neo-natal intensive care unit of a public hospital in Tegucigalpa. Proistemi Project also provides assistance to Casa Zulema, a home for those suffering from the devastation of AIDS. Some residents are victims of AIDS and others are family members who have been impacted, sometimes orphaned. The residents have come to Casa Zulema seeking food, shelter and support.
